UPSC Combined Defence Services Exam 2016 – The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final results of the Combined Defence Services Examination (I) 2016 and has selected a total of 126 candidates out of the recruitment exam. Examination for the different posts was held in February this year. Results can be seen at commission’s website. Commission has also said that there are some common candidates in three lists, issued by it, for various reasons. The examination was held for 200 vacancies in India Military Academy, 45 for Indian Naval Academy and other 32 for Air Force Academy.

Age Limit: Candidates age should be 20- 24 years as on 01-01-2018 (born not earlier than 02nd January 1994 and not later than 01st January 1998). Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Degree for Post 1, 4, 5, Degree in Engineering for Post 2, Degree (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering for Post 3.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on written examination and interview test.

Application Fee: Candidates should possess Rs.200/- by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/ State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ State Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of Travancore or by using any Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card. No fee for Female/ SC/ ST candidates.
