Karnataka CET 2017 Karnataka CET Application Form 2017:  Karnataka Common Entrance Test is a state level examination conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority to offer admission into various full-time courses in engineering, medical, dental, architecture etc.  The eligible and interested candidates can apply for KCET 2017 through online at the official website.  KEA has released the notification regarding the availability of application form along with other details.  The online application starts from 27th January 2017.  Before applying the candidates need to check the eligibility criteria and fill the application form.  We provide you the complete details regarding the KCET entrance test 2017.

List of the courses offered through KCET:  BAMS, BUMS, BHYS&BHMS, B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Sc (with specialization in agriculture, forestry, sericulture, agri. Biotech, horticulture, home science, agriculture marketing and co-operation)  B.Tech with food science and technology, B.Tech with agriculture engineering, B.G.Sc, and A.H.B. Pharma, 2nd-year B pharma (Lateral Entry) and DPharma.  These courses are offered by government assisted as well as private educational institutions of the state.  In this test, the students only from Karnataka state are allowed and other students can go for COMEDK taken for admission in private engineering, dental and medical college.

Important Dates: 

Commencement of online applications:  27th January 2017

Last date to submit online applications:  27th February 2017

Last date for payment of fee:  2nd March 2017

Availability of admit card:  3rd week of April 2017

Exam date:  (Biology and Mathematics):  2nd May 2017

Exam date:  (Physics and Chemistry):  3rd May 2017

Kannada Language Test (only in Bangalore):  4th May 2017

Declaration of results:  last week of May 2017

Counseling starts from 2nd week of June 2017

Karnataka CET 2017 Karnataka CET Application Form 2017:

Educational Qualification:   The candidates should have passed 12th and must have studied physics, mathematics as compulsory subjects.

  • In addition to it, the candidate should have studied optional subjects like biotechnology/chemistry/computer science/electronics/biology. The language of the study must be English.
  • The candidates should have at least scored 45% marks as aggregate in all optional subjects.

KCET 2017 Application Form Fee: 

  • For Gen/OBC Category: 650/-
  • For SC/ST category: 500/-
  • For Candidates studied 12th standard from state other than Karnataka: 750/-
  • For residing outside India: 5000/-

The application fee can be remitted through e-challan by depositing fee in any specified bank (State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Hyderabad, Indian Bank, Axis Bank, State Bank of India).

KCET 2017 Admit Card:  The admit card is an essential document.  The candidates need to carry the admit card to the examination hall.  The authority will release the admit card before the exam date.  The applied candidates need to download the admit card from the official website.

KCET Application Form Correction:  Candidates are advised to edit the necessary changes only if changes are required.  Once the information changed in the application neither you will not be allowed to carry out the changes once again nor the earlier data will be considered.

How to Edit Mistakes in KCET Application Form 2017: 

  • Select the link “Editing of online application – CET”
  • Login to the website
  • Modify the details and select the declaration
  • Verify once the edit contents correctly
  • Select the submit button

After declaration, the candidates will not be allowed to modify the contents.

Application Form 2017:

  1. Registration of the candidate: The candidates are required to register themselves online through the link provided. Fill the personal details, student information, examination details, contact details of the candidate, study details and details of appearing for previous CET Examination.
  2. Upload the scanned picture. All the images must be between 5KB to 40 KB.
  3. Make the KCET application fee payment through Bank Challan/DD.
  4. Take a print copy of KCET application form 2017
