JEMAT Exam Pattern 2016 – This is a state level entrance exam conducted for admission into MBA and Master of Human Administration (MHA) in various government and private colleges affiliated to WBUT in West Bengal state. However, the candidates are advised to check the exam pattern for JEMAT II before they start with the exam preparation. The exam pattern will throw light on the number and type of questions, marking scheme, topics, sectional weightage and duration of the exam.
JEMAT Exam Pattern 2016: The full form of JEMAT is Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test conducted by West Bengal University of Technology i.e. WBUT. This is a state level entrance exam conducted for admission into MBA and Master of Human Administration (MHA) in various government and private colleges affiliated to WBUT in West Bengal state.This exam is conducted twice in a year. Interested candidates must check the eligibility criteria and other important information like Important dates, Exam Pattern, Application Fee, Process to Apply and Counselling Process etc. related to JEMAT 2016 before applying.
The candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria before applying. If he/she fails to do so, his/her application may be rejected at any stage.
Candidate must have Bachelor degree in any discipline from recognized university.
Candidates appearing in final year are also eligible to apply.
Objective type MCQs will be asked in the question paper. 100 questions will be asked in the exam paper and two hours duration will be given to attempt the examination. Each question will carry one mark. There will be 0.25 negative marking for every wrong answer. Questions will be asked from following sections:
General English 40 Questions 40 marks
Mathematics 40 Questions 40 marks
Logical Reasoning 20 Questions 20 mark

JEMAT Syllabus 2016:
To know about the exam pattern and the syllabus of any exam are the mandatory for every candidate. The syllabus for JEMAT II will furnish the details of the topics and sub-topics of the exam. There is no definite syllabus for JEMAT, however, candidates can prepare according to the topics given below –
English – To prepare for this section, the candidates can read story books, novels, poetry, to prepare for the comprehension passage. Also, the candidates can practice synonyms, antonyms, learn meanings of new words to strengthen the vocabulary, usage of proper grammar, etc.
Mathematics – For this topic, the candidates can go for the basic concepts of Mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Statistics and Trigonometry.
Logical Reasoning – This is a tricky section and to prepare for this part, the candidates are required to practice hard. Here, the candidates can practice the Find the odd one, coding and decoding, data interpretation, identifying strong arguments and weak arguments, series, true & false, syllogism, data sufficiency, and statements & conclusions.
